Privacy Policy

Overview

Purrgress (“we”, “us”) is a private tool for logging and visualizing your body measurements. This policy explains what we collect, why, and the choices you have. We only collect what you type in — we don’t track your location, contacts, or browsing.

What we collect

• Account: your email, a display name, and a password (stored only as a salted hash — never in plain text).
• Body & health data you enter: weight, body-fat percentage, circumference measurements, height, goal weight, sex, date of birth, unit preference, reminder settings, and any notes you add.

How we use it

We use your information to run the service: to store your entries and show them back to you as charts, BMI, and trends, and to sign you in and keep you signed in. We do not use your data for advertising, and we do not sell or rent it.

Sensitive data

Body measurements and BMI can be sensitive. We treat them as private information, accessible only to you through your own account. We do not share them with anyone except the infrastructure providers below that operate the service on our behalf.

Where your data lives

Your data is stored in a managed PostgreSQL database (Neon) and served through our hosting provider. It is transmitted over HTTPS (TLS), and access is restricted to the running application. Passwords are hashed by our authentication library, so we cannot see them.

Cookies

We use a single essential cookie to keep you signed in. We use no analytics, advertising, or third-party tracking cookies.

Your choices

• Export: download your full history as CSV or JSON from Settings at any time.
• Correct: edit any entry or profile field in the app.
• Delete: to delete your account and all associated data, email us at support@purrtherapy.studio. We keep your data until you ask us to remove it.

Children

Purrgress is not intended for anyone under 16, and we do not knowingly collect data from children.

Changes

We may update this policy. We’ll revise the “last updated” date above and, for material changes, note it in the app.
